Parents As Partners in the IEP Process

The Utah Parent Center is pleased to present this information and training modules which are part of a four-part series on the roles and responsibilities of parents as partners with team members and the development of the individualized education program, or IEP, for their student with a disability. One overview module about the IEP process is also available in Spanish.  It will be helpful for you to download a copy of the Utah Parent Center handbook for parents entitled “Parents as Partners in the IEP Process”. After you have viewed the training modules, please contact the Parent Consultants at the Utah Parent Center for additional assistance in applying this information to your student’s situation..
