Advocacy Voting Tips
Advocacy is the act of speaking on behalf of, or in support of, another person, place, thing, or issue. It is an activity engaged in by individuals or groups that aims to influence decisions made or opinions formed by others.
Margaret Mead, a famous scientist who studied societies and how people interact with each other, said of advocacy: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” It is important for you to know that you can make a difference and that the path to getting there is not as difficult as you may think. It starts with believing in yourself and having the confidence that you deserve to be heard.
