Social and Emotional Learning for All Ages
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is a process by which young people and adults acquire skills of managing emotions, learning empathy for others and establishing and maintaining healthy relationships. These skills can be addressed in a variety of educational settings. When your student lacks social-emotional skills they are more likely to struggle when faced with challenges or new situations. Acquiring these skills early and when developmentally appropriate can help them learn to successfully navigate the world around them.
