Navigating Healthy Relationships for Safe Outcomes for Teens (13-17)

TETONS (Teaching, Empowering & Training on Navigating Sexuality and Healthy Relationships) is a FREE, in-person training with the goal of teaching teens (13-17) with intellectual and developmental disabilities about healthy relationships. Over the course of eight weeks, we will discuss what defines a relationship and tools for navigating them. Session topics include:
- Communication
- Decision-Making
- Types of Relationships
- Public vs. Private
- Internet and Social Media Safety
- Boundaries and Consent
- Gender Identity and Expression
- Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships
This class will meet on Fridays, starting January 5th, and will continue until February 23rd. If these dates don’t work for you, we will be hosting another session in March – now available for registration.
