This is the TRAINING EVENT OF THE YEAR for professionals, caregivers, parents, adult siblings of individuals with a wide-range of abilities (high-functioning to low-functioning)  including those with autism spectrum disorders, complex intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs. 

Dr. Gerhardt’s mission is to improve an individual’s outcome through confidence, dignity, and quality life. Be prepared to learn how to help your student/child go Above and Beyond in the transition process. Start transition planning for your student or child as early as age 12.

Dr. Gerhardt shares his knowledge through humor and by using the techniques in Applied Behavioral Analysis to work with youth to become employable, functional, and successful adults. These techniques work with a wide range of abilities from high-functioning to low-functioning or those who have significant behavioral concerns.

Peter Gerhardt, Ed.D., is the Executive Director of the EPIC School in Paramus, NJ.  Dr. Gerhardt has more than 35 years experience utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in support of adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders in education, employment, residential and community-based settings.


Dr. Peter Gerhardt will present and in-depth training session on March 1, 2019, and though much of his information will be directed to professionals in the field, these same techniques and tools can be used by parents and caregivers. Thanks to the Utah State Board of Education, a live-stream option is now also available for those in distance or rural parts of the state or for those who are unable to attend in person. Though he focuses much of his information based on his many years of work and research in individuals with autism spectrum disorders this information applies to all families of individuals with a wide range of abilities, including developmental disabilities, complex intellectual disabilities, behavioral health needs, those with social skills deficits and executive functioning needs.
