Alpine School District – Let’s Talk About It: Teaching Conversation Skills

We will highlight the underlying principles (and often unwritten rules) of social interaction as well as specific tools you can model, teach, and practice.

These will provide a foundation for understanding the why, where & how of initiating conversation, the what & when of topic maintenance, and the who and when of turn-taking.

We’ll share additional resources that you can explore to address specific needs and concerns.
