Thank you for your interest. We will have the following volunteer opportunities available at various points throughout the year. Please check any opportunities that interest you. We will contact you as soon as we have an opportunity available.
Please check any opportunities that interest you
Family to Family Network Events: Support families of persons with disabilities through local monthly meetings and/or community events. Events provide training opportunities for caregivers and activities for children. Event examples include, Easter egg hunts, Halloween parties, back to school events, and other theme centered activities.
Office Support: Assist in the Utah Parent Center office on scheduled dates. Duties can include answering phones, data entry, inventory assessment, and cleaning and organizing our toy room. Microsoft Office skills are required.
Fundraising Events: Each year the Utah Parent Center hosts one major fundraising event in the fall. Volunteers can assist with collecting auction donations, assembling auction baskets, event registration, decorations, and all other aspects of the event.
Special Projects and Assignments: Periodically, the Center hosts activities such as a family conference, large parent training meetings, or focus groups. Volunteers would assist with the setup of the event, registration, conference/meeting preparations, etc. If you have WordPress Website skills, you can help to update the Center's resource information on the website. If you are fluent in Spanish and English, you can assist with translation of documents and web materials.
Other: Do you have an idea for something that could help the Center? We would love to hear about it.
What ideas would you like to share?
