Parents as Partners in the IEP Process
The Utah Parent Center is pleased to present this information and training module. There are 4 parts to the IEP training series on the roles and responsibilities of parents as partners with team members and the development of the Individualized Education Program, or IEP, for their student with a disability. One overview module about the IEP process is also available in Spanish. It will be helpful for you to download a copy of the UPC handbook for parents entitled “Parents as Partners in the IEP Process”. After you have viewed the training modules, please contact the Parent Consultants at the Utah Parent Center for additional assistance. A webinar provides you with the opportunity to obtain valuable information from the comfort of your home, office or other location. After accessing the webinar by clicking on the link below, you will be able to view the presentation slides while you listen to the presenter.
