History of Mother’s Day

The month of May symbolizes renewal and joy.  It is also the month that we celebrate mothers and motherhood.   Mother’s Day became an official U.S. holiday in 1914.  Since then, people have created their own traditions and ways of celebrating the mothers in their lives.  Check out the history of Mother’s Day and ways to celebrate in the links below.
