WebinEAR: Your Child’s Language and Communication Plan

Learn how a Language and Communication Plan (LCP) can help ensure that deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind children can fully participate in and access their educational environment throughout the school day. This practical parent workshop will explain what an LCP is, how to use one, and how parents can advocate for its inclusion with their child’s IEP or 504 team and within their school district. We’ll also discuss the Utah State Board of Education’s new LCP opt-in pilot program for districts.
